With the integrated robotic system, the machine is able to select the correct bend based on the part to be produced and the production volume, without operator intervention. This technology can significantly increase productivity. A press brake is a machine tool for bending metal parts and sheets up to 20 mm thick. It consists of a V-shaped or U-shaped die (depending on the desired bend shape) and a punch. The material to be bent is placed on a die and pressed by a punch, and the sheet is bent to a selected degree.
